Eau Claire was recently named one of the “Most Affordable Mid-Sized Cities in the U.S.” for 2014 by the Simple Dollar.
“Eau Claire is home to an impressive landscape and a growing culture scene. The city hosts a number of festivals and events, including the Eau Claire Jazz Festival, Country Fest, Festival in the Pines, and the U.S. Open Chainsaw event. Other points of interest include Owen Park and the Sarge Boyd Bandshell, the Chippewa River State Trail, and the State Theater.”
