Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF)
Many of WARF’s more than 1,500 available technologies may serve as the basis for a startup company. 
 
WiSys Technology Foundation, Inc.
Facilitates joint research and development between Wisconsin small companies and the University of Wisconsin System's comprehensive campuses and UW colleges.

Applied Technology Center
Located at the Chippewa Valley Technical College, this center was developed to advance your product and prototype development needs,and offers a wide range of applied research applications for nanotechnology, micro fabrication and advanced manufacturing technologies.
 
Discovery Center
Located at the University of Wisconsin - Stout; services include feasibility assessment, product engineering and design, prototype development, product evaluation, and patent advice.
 
Material Science Center
Location at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire; industries, particularly small start-up companies, can tap into state-of-the-art, specialized equipment and the broad material expertise of UW-Eau Claire faculty to enhance research and development programs and gain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
