The Idea Challenge is a local program to engage local residents in the process of ideation and innovation. The program’s goal is to facilitate early-stage business development, eventually creating new products and companies in the Eau Claire area.

If you have an idea, take a moment to explore your options with the Idea Pathway. Once you’ve determined that your product or service concept is new, has unique attributes, and has both market and business opportunities, you’ll be ready to submit your idea.  Each submission will be reviewed and will receive a reply with advice for further research or available resources.

Applied Technology Idea Challenge

The Applied Technology Idea Challenge is a search for new product ideas based on proven technologies. The best product idea will receive $3,000 in cash, and the opportunity to either license the technology or work with the licensing company to leverage their technology to develop a product and bring it to market.
