The North Barstow Redevelopment Area has become a priority in Eau Claire for several reasons. The feedback from our residents was to create a park along the river and to link the bike and riverfront trail system. The North River Fronts Neighborhood Association is interested in cleaning up the blight in their neighborhood. The community wanted more restaurants and cafes facing the river and more opportunities for housing in the downtown. And last, but not least, the private sector has shown interest in investing their money into revitalization of this area.

River Prairie

River Prairie will be a new entranceway to the City of Altoona consisting of uniquely designed public spaces, commercial centers, and residential neighborhoods integrated by a network of interconnected pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular transportation systems. The design of River Prairie’s built and natural environments will be linked by a commitment to design quality as well as to the protection of the Eau Claire River corridor and existing forests. Waterford

Waterford will be a new urban village along the river's edge and in close proximity to Eau Claire's prestigious country club greens. Waterford is a small community within itself with a bank, spa, coffee shop, restaurants, galleria boutiques, offices, fitness center, library, community club house, guest facilities, and luxury condominium homes. For quality of living, Waterford is Eau Claire's lap of luxury.
