Unique assets are the foundation of our economy. Our focus is to continue to create and market these unique resources so that our area does not compete on commodities such as land and basic infrastructure.

Corporate Goals
1. Increase number of partnerships, operating agreements, and joint projects between economic development partners (City of Eau Claire, Momentum Chippewa Valley, Chippewa County, Dunn County, Chambers of Commerce) and the Eau Claire Area EDC.

2. The Eau Claire Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) will rank at or above the 75th percentile in identified
business climate measurements.

3. Ensure local and regional labor talents are widely known and hired by appropriate target industries.

4. Ensure jobs are being created in specific areas of high talent pools.

5. Eau Claire County communities have plans that are working to address business
development infrastructure needs.

Create and implement strategies to attract talent that drives leading-edge and early-stage companies.

Assist in the creation, enhancement, and expansion of local businesses.

Business Recruitment
Implement well-developed marketing campaigns that attract new business and industry.

Create and implement well-developed marketing concepts, materials and campaigns that will generate the location of new business and industry in the Eau Claire area.
