Brian Doudna, Executive Director
Brian Doudna joined the Eau Claire Area EDC in 2004. Prior to this he was the Executive Director of the Portage County Business Council (county-wide Chamber and EDC) in Stevens Point, and has also held economic development positions in Rhinelander and Sparta. Brian is involved with the boards of directors of many organizations, including Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA), the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce, the Chippewa Valley Innovation Center, and Momentum West. He is also involved with Rotary, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and is a member of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).

Luke Hanson, Project Manager
Luke Hanson joined the EDC in December of 2012 as Project Manager. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Marketing from Jamestown College in North Dakota. Luke held marketing positions in both for profit and non-profit organizations including economic development. Prior to joining the EDC, Luke was a Business Analyst for Ashley Furniture Industries in Arcadia, where he worked on their search engine optimization, search engine marketing and overall website analytics.

Christina Wasson, Marketing Manager
Christina Wasson joined the Eau Claire Area EDC in June of 2013 as the new Marketing Manager. Christina brings over eight years of experience in marketing and coordinating and has held marketing and coordinating positions for various departments at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Most recently she worked at the University of Wisconsin-Stout's Graduate School as a Student Services Coordinator. During that time Christina was responsible for marketing, event and campaign coordination, website development and maintenance, and data analysis.

Angie Niska, Strategic Communications Manager (Part-Time)
Angie Niska joined the EDC in November of 2010 as the Marketing Manager and is now the Strategic Communications Manager. Niska has held positions at General Mills, 3M, Sacred Heart Hospital, and Group Health Cooperative of Eau Claire. She attended St. Cloud State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics. Later, she earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota with an emphasis in Marketing and Supply Chain.

Pat Trowbridge, Office Manager/Critical Talent (Part-Time)
Pat Trowbridge joined the EDC for the second time in July of 2012. Trowbridge had been employed for the EDC from 1993 to 2006 in a similar position. Prior to coming back to the EDC, Trowbridge worked for GSI Commerce in Human Resources.

Internships with the EDC
The Eau Claire Area EDC strongly believes in internship programs and fully utilizes the talents of local students for internships. The EDC’s goal is to ensure that each intern will create tangible pieces for their portfolios that will be used in our daily operations. Currently, the EDC employs interns in the following positions:
